Mining & Resources
Modular infrastructure for mining and resource projects, from individual operational buildings to complete accommodation camps and supporting facilities. Designed around project requirements, remote site conditions and demanding operating environments across Africa.

Mining operations across Africa are frequently established in remote locations with no existing infrastructure — no roads, no power grid, no water supply. Setting up a functional site often means building a complete, self-contained environment from bare ground, in demanding conditions and against a fixed programme.
AMBS supplies and installs the full range, from a single guard house at the start of a greenfield project through to complete accommodation villages. Projects have included permanent camps accommodating over 750 people, delivered with the civil works, roads, water, power, sewer and communications required for the camp to operate as an integrated facility. Buildings are engineered to the standards applicable to the site, its location and the client's specification.
The modular approach means sections of a camp can be brought into operation while others are still being installed. Where a mine's requirements change or operations move, accommodation infrastructure can be designed for relocation and redeployment rather than replacement.

Full turnkey delivery of a permanent 752-person mining accommodation camp, developed from bare site to operational infrastructure across approximately 20,000 m².

Design, manufacture and site installation of a multi-building modular contractors camp incorporating accommodation, ablutions, catering and communal facilities.

84 fully completed modular units manufactured, assembled and commissioned in South Africa before shipping as complete buildings to a remote DRC mining operation.
