AMBS Cold Storage & Processing Facilities give growers, packhouses and logistics operators the insulated modular infrastructure required to maintain the cold chain from field to market.
The PIR-core insulated panel system delivers thermal performance from +15°C ambient control rooms down to −25°C blast freeze applications. Panels are factory-fabricated to exact dimensions to eliminate cold bridging at joints. Refrigeration equipment supply, installation and commissioning can be included as part of a turnkey package.
Beyond cold storage, AMBS supplies grading and packing halls, produce processing facilities, agri-office blocks and farm worker accommodation under the same modular building system, delivered and installed across South Africa and into neighbouring countries.
Add chambers as your storage requirements grow. The modular system accommodates future expansion with no demolition.
Equipment specification, supply, installation and commissioning included as optional turnkey package.
Food safety-compliant internal surfaces, coved coving junctions, impervious hygienic panel linings.
Blast freeze, deep freeze, chilled storage, ambient control and CA storage configurations all achievable.
Polyisocyanurate foam core with steel facings. U-values down to 0.12 W/m²K. No cold bridges at panel joints.
Typical applications
Packhouse cold rooms · Blast freeze & deep freeze chambers · Chilled produce storage · Grading & sorting halls · Produce processing facilities · Distribution cold stores · Food logistics depots · Camp kitchen cold storage · Controlled-atmosphere storage · Agri-processing facility infrastructure
