Our Facility
AMBS operates its own manufacturing facility in Gauteng, South Africa, bringing panel production, modular building manufacture, assembly, quality control and dispatch together within one integrated operation.
The AMBS manufacturing facility brings together the core production capabilities required to manufacture prefabricated and modular building systems within a controlled factory environment. Our operations include insulated panel production, steel fabrication, modular building manufacture and assembly, fit-out, quality control and preparation for dispatch.
Operating under our ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, production is managed through defined manufacturing and inspection processes, helping maintain consistency from individual building components through to factory-completed modular units.
Our in-house manufacturing capability gives AMBS greater control over quality, programme and project coordination, while allowing construction activity to move off-site wherever the project and delivery strategy allow.

Two dedicated polyurethane panel production lines for the manufacture of insulated wall and roof panel systems used across AMBS modular buildings and project applications.
Dedicated EPS panel manufacturing capability, expanding the range of insulated panel systems available for different building, thermal and project requirements.
In-house fabrication of structural steel components, including the welding and manufacture of modular building chassis, frames and associated steelwork required for AMBS building systems.
In-house cutting and bending of project-specific trims, flashings and finishing components, manufactured to suit each building and panel configuration.
Electrical, plumbing and other building services can be integrated during factory manufacture and assembly, allowing buildings to leave the facility at an advanced stage of completion where the project allows.
Building components, panels and modular units are assembled and inspected during production, with quality control undertaken against approved project and manufacturing requirements before dispatch.
Specialist aluminium extrusion systems for modular building applications, including purpose-designed window and door framing components engineered to integrate with AMBS insulated panel systems.
